Visitor’s code

These Visitors Regulations for the MASARYK CIRCUIT apply to all persons entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT (on the basis of participating in an event, a valid ticket or invitation, for the purpose of visiting a restaurant, on track days, etc.). It contains information concerning the rules for the entire visit to the MASARYK CIRCUIT.

The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT is Automotodrom Brno, a.s., Company ID No. 60728825, based at Masarykův okruh 201, 664 81 Ostrovačice, delivery address: P.O. Box 1, 641 00 Brno.

The organizer is a legal person using the MASARYK CIRCUIT under a contractual agreement with the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT.

  1. Visitors to the MASARYK CIRCUIT include all people who enter the restricted area of the MASARYK CIRCUIT. The MASARYK CIRCUIT area is a sport area bounded by a fence – the circuit as a sport establishment designed for motorsport events in the cadastral areas of Ostrovačice and Žebětín.
  2. By entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT, you agree to follow the laws of the Czech Republic, internal regulations of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, this Visitor´s Code, traffic rules and traffic signs and all guidelines provided by organizers of events taking place at the MASARYK CIRCUIT. By entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT, each visitor commits to voluntarily following the provisions of this Visitor´s Code and respecting all guidelines provided by responsible employees of Automotodrom Brno, a.s., security personnel, organizers, and delegated persons during sport events. Persons under the age of 15 are only allowed to enter when accompanied by a person over the age of 18.
  3. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT does so at his or her own risk, voluntarily, and with the acknowledgment that motorsports can be dangerous and that it is necessary to be appropriately cautious at all times.
  4. Visitors to the MASARYK CIRCUIT are fully responsible for their behaviour. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT is not responsible for any damage to a visitor’s property or for any personal injuries.
  5. It is possible to enter and exit the MASARYK CIRCUIT only through the official entrances and entrance gates. Parking is possible only in dedicated parking spots or in accordance with guidelines provided by the security personnel of the area or the organizer.
  6. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is obliged to act in a manner that will exclude any damage to the MASARYK CIRCUIT or its facility. Each person is also obliged to preserve cleanliness and order and in no way jeopardize safety. Within the MASARYK CIRCUIT, it is forbidden to dispose of any litter or garbage in any place other than a garbage can, to empty motor vehicle oil fillings or the contents of car batteries, to put away other things that are intended for disposal or landfill (especially used tires).
  7. Each person enters the MASARYK CIRCUIT at their own risk in consideration of their own health. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT in particular acknowledges, in consideration of their own health, that there may be a high concentration of exhaust fumes in the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  8. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT reserves the right to prohibit anyone from entering or to expel anyone from the area without any compensation should this person disobey the instructions and guidelines of the security personnel of the area, the service providers, or the organizers of events taking place at the MASARYK CIRCUIT, or should this person’s behaviour be improper and disorderly (e.g., attacking other visitors or organizers, racially motivated chanting, etc.). It is forbidden to enter the MASARYK CIRCUIT under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or psychotropic substances, with significantly contaminated clothing, while disrespecting basic hygiene rules, or while contagious.
  9. Visitors, participants, principals, and tenants of the area are entitled to move only within the area specified for them and are prohibited from entering other areas and in this way disturbing events currently taking place in those areas.
  10. A ticket used to enter the MASARYK CIRCUIT is valid solely for the mentioned day and event. The ticket is only valid if it has not been modified or damaged in any way and if it is complete.
  11. Further transfer, sale, or disposal of a ticket without the written consent of the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the organizer or any attempt to sell the ticket for a higher price than that for which it was originally purchased will cause the ticket to become invalid. The holder of the ticket will be prohibited from entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT or will be expelled from the MASARYK CIRCUIT. It is also a reason to confiscate the ticket without any refund or other compensation. Without specific written permission from the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the organizer, it is forbidden for the purchaser or holder of the ticket to use the ticket for to promote himself or herself in any way (including competitions and consumer lotteries) or to promote any product or service for any commercial purpose or other purpose, this all applies even to the use of only a significant part of the ticket. The ticket has value, counterfeiting or altering it is forbidden. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the organizer will not allow holders of such tickets to enter the area.
  12. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is obliged to undergo validity check of their ticket for the given event, verifying that they are authorized to visit the given event happening in the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  13. After the event ends and exiting the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the ticket is no longer valid. The holder of the ticket is obliged to carry the ticket with himself or herself throughout the time of his or her visit to the MASARYK CIRCUIT and to provide it if an event organizer or service provider should ask for it.
  14. Each visitor to the MASARYK CIRCUIT is obliged to immediately report to the organizer or service provider any and all defects or malfunctions that could be dangerous to people or property.
  15. In case of personal injury, everyone who is a witness to such an event must inform the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  16. All people entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT agree to undergo a personal security check of themselves and their belongings, the reason is to ensure the safety of other people and property in the MASARYK CIRCUIT. Refusing to undergo such a security check is a reason to be prevented from entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  17. It is not permitted to bring into the MASARYK CIRCUIT any alcohol; food or drinks (except for documented medical reasons); bottles; pressurized items; containers of any kind (glass or PET bottles; cans; jars; etc.); unworn clothing; political or commercial materials; glass or glass items; drugs; toxic and narcotic substances; excessively oversize luggage; weapons (clubs; knifes; firearms; etc.); chains; scissors; explosive substances (explosives, explosive combustibles including fireworks); combustibles; and other dangerous items that could cause a personal injury or damage to the property of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the event organizer, including the personnel and all visitors. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the event organizer have the right to determine whether or not the item is dangerous.
  18. Within the MASARYK CIRCUIT, only consumption of food and drinks bought within the area is permitted.
  19. Within the MASARYK CIRCUIT, it is strictly forbidden to move out of the area designed and delineated for visitors. All visitors can go only where they are entitled by their ticket to go or to enter a special premise (e.g., visiting a restaurant).
  20. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that the racetrack itself is fenced so as to be separated from the tribunes (the natural ones and those with seating) and also acknowledges that spectators are strictly prohibited from entering behind this fence. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is forbidden to try to surpass such fencing in any way or to get closer to the racetrack in any way. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is forbidden to touch the fencing that separates the racetrack from the tribunes (the natural ones and those with seating) in any way, in particular by climbing, jumping on, or leaning against it.
  21. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is forbidden to cross any security tape placed anywhere in the MASARYK CIRCUIT as these may be placed to ensure that no one will enter or walk onto the racetrack or in close proximity of racetrack – as this could be life-threatening – or to enter or walk into places that are for any reason dangerous to life, health, and property, in particular due to construction, maintenance work, etc.
  22. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is obliged to follow all instructions from the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or an organizer of the given event. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or an organizer of the given event has the authority to prohibit anyone from entering any place or location in the MASARYK CIRCUIT for safety reasons.
  23. For all movement to, from, or between tribunes, each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT area is obliged to use only marked paths. The Operator is not responsible for any damage caused by movement or staying outside of the tribunes (the natural ones or those with seating) and off the marked paths.
  24. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is probable that there will be a significant number of people in the MASARYK CIRCUIT. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is obliged to act with due consideration of other people, and in particular never to act in such way that would cause damage to health, life, or property.
  25. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges the possibility that event participants, employees of the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or of the event organizer, or other delegated persons may move in the MASARYK CIRCUIT by bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, or car (including racing vehicles) and that it is therefore necessary to move about with caution.
  26. With the MASARYK CIRCUIT, it is strictly forbidden to throw any items into the racetrack, pit lane, safety zones, or related areas.
  27. It is forbidden to bring any animals into the MASARYK CIRCUIT. Damage caused by disobeying this rule will be the responsibility of the owner of the animal or of the person who brought the animal into the area.
  28. Unless explicitly forbidden, smoking is permitted in the MASARYK CIRCUIT area. In the case of smoking in a space where smoking is forbidden, the organizer is authorized to expel such a person from the MASARYK CIRCUIT without any compensation.
  29. It is forbidden to use open fire in any way within the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  30. Without preceding written consent from the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the use of drones (unmanned aerial vehicles – UAVs) is forbidden.
  31. No pictures or video or sound records from the MASARYK CIRCUIT may be used for commercial purposes without preceding consent from the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and an event organizer. No unauthorized use, broadcast, recounting, or reproduction of the logo or the trademark of the MASARYK CIRCUIT is permitted.
  32. For all events and happenings at the MASARYK CIRCUIT the holder of a ticket for the given event and any visitor to the MASARYK CIRCUIT and any event participant: • Renounces all legal claims that could possibly emerge from any injury or damage or harm in connection with his or her presence at the event or in the MASARYK CIRCUIT; • Dismisses, for present and any time in the future, any and all rights and claims, dismissing responsibility for damage caused; and • Agrees not to take any legal steps or encourage other people to take legal steps against the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, circuit promoters, event organizers, or any company connected with the organization of the given event, including its affiliated branches, directors, functionaries, employees, intermediaries, providers, representatives, and contractual partners in case of injury, death, damage, or loss that the holder of a pass or ticket, visitor to the MASARYK CIRCUIT, or event participant could suffer or cause as a result or in connection with the presence of the holder of a ticket or a pass at the event or in connection with the visit to the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  33. Within the MASARYK CIRCUIT, it is forbidden to take part in any commercial or advertising activity that has not been authorized by the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the event organizer.
  34. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT agrees without any further warning to free-of-charge use of his or her picture or portrait as a part of a video recording, broadcast, or footage used for promotional or commercial use during display of full or partial event footage and when used in connection with the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the organizer, and their sponsors.
  35. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is obliged to hand over all items found in the MASARYK CIRCUIT to the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or to the event organizer.
  36. Compensation for any damage caused will be claimed according to currently valid legislation of the Czech Republic.
  37. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the event organizer are not in any way responsible for lost or stolen items (in particular items brought in or put aside) except for items that were explicitly taken for safekeeping by the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the event organizer in premises designed for this very purpose (e.g., changing rooms). The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT is not responsible for things and items brought into the area or put aside; all visitors are obliged to ensure that their own belongings are safe, meaning that they cannot be stolen, including parked vehicles and belongings inside of them.
  38. In case of evacuation of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, each person who is at that moment within the MASARYK CIRCUIT must obey instructions from people authorized to lead the evacuation and must act in a way that will not lead to damage to the health, life, or property of others and also in a way that will not encourage panic among other people that are being evacuated from the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  39. Visitors acknowledge that a camera system is installed and used at the MASARYK CIRCUIT that serves the purpose of ensuring security and monitoring and is used to secure ongoing operation at the racetrack.
