Visitor Rules

These Visitor Rules for the MASARYK CIRCUIT apply to all individuals entering the premises of the MASARYK CIRCUIT (e.g., based on a valid ticket, invitation, for the purpose of attending an event, visiting the restaurant, public driving, etc.). They contain basic information about the rules for entry and stay of persons at the MASARYK CIRCUIT.

The MASARYK CIRCUIT is operated by Automotodrom Brno, a.s., Company ID 60728825, located at Masarykův okruh 201, 664 81 Ostrovačice, delivery address: P.O. Box 1, 641 00 Brno.

The Organizer is a legal entity that utilizes the MASARYK CIRCUIT based on its contractual relationship with the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT.

  1. A visitor to the MASARYK CIRCUIT is anyone who enters the enclosed area of the MASARYK CIRCUIT. The area of the MASARYK CIRCUIT refers to the fenced space of the sports venue – the automotodrome as a sports facility for motorsport activities in the cadastral areas of Ostrovačice and Žebětín.
  2. Entry and stay within the MASARYK CIRCUIT are conditional on adhering to the laws of the Czech Republic, internal regulations of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, these Visitor Rules, observing traffic regulations and signage, instructions from the event and happening organizers operating on the MASARYK CIRCUIT. By entering the premises of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, each person voluntarily agrees to abide by the provisions of these Visitor Rules and to respect the instructions of responsible employees of Automotodrom Brno, a.s., security staff, event staff, and delegated officials at sports events. Persons under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a person older than 18 years.
  3. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT does so at their own risk, voluntarily, and acknowledges that motorsport may be dangerous. Each such person understands the necessity to move throughout the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises with due caution.
  4. Visitors to the MASARYK CIRCUIT are fully responsible for their own behavior. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT is not liable for any damages to property or to the health of persons.
  5. The MASARYK CIRCUIT can only be entered, driven into and exited through official entrances and entrance gates. Parking is allowed only in designated areas or according to the directions of the security staff or event staff.
  6. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT must act in a manner that avoids damaging the MASARYK CIRCUIT or its facilities, and must also keep the area clean and safe. In the area of MASARYK CIRCUIT it is prohibited to discard waste outside of bins, discharge oil or battery contents from vehicles, or leave items meant for disposal or landfill storage (especially used tires).
  7. Every person enters the MASARYK CIRCUIT at their own risk, including with respect to their current state of health. Each person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges, in particular with regard to their current health condition, that the premises of the MASARYK CIRCUIT may contain, inter alia, elevated concentrations of exhaust fumes.
  8. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT reserves the right to deny entry or to expel any person without compensation who does not comply with the instructions of the security staff, event staff, and organizers of events and happenings held at the MASARYK CIRCUIT or whose behavior is found to be inappropriate (e.g., assaulting another visitor or organizer, racially motivated chanting, etc.). Entry to the MASARYK CIRCUIT is prohibited for persons under the influence of alcohol, narcotic or psychotropic substances, persons in significantly soiled clothing, persons not respecting basic hygiene rules, or persons with a contagious disease.
  9. Visitors, event participants, clients, or tenants of the premises are authorized to move only in designated areas and must not enter other areas or disrupt the proceedings of events.
  10. A ticket to the MASARYK CIRCUIT is valid exclusively for the specified day and event listed on it. A ticket is valid only if it is unaltered, undamaged, and complete.
  11. Further transfer, sale, or disposal of a ticket without the written consent of the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the Organizer renders it invalid. Holders of such a ticket will be denied entry to the MASARYK CIRCUIT or will be expelled, and this constitutes a reason for the seizure of the ticket without compensation of its nominal value or other compensation. Without the express written consent of the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the Organizer, the ticket (or its significant part) must not be used for any promotional activities (including competitions and customer lotteries) by the purchaser or Holder, or for advertising any products or services for commercial or other purposes. The ticket is a valuable document, and its counterfeiting or alteration is prohibited. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the Organizer shall deny entry to Holders of such tickets.
  12. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is required to undergo an entry check verifying the validity of the ticket for the specific event and authorizing this person to attend the respective event held at the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  13. After the event ends and the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises are vacated, the ticket loses its validity. The Ticker Holder is obliged to carry the ticket with them at all times during their stay at the MASARYK CIRCUIT and to present it promptly for inspection upon request by the event staff.
  14. Anyone who notices a fault in the premises or equipment of the MASARYK CIRCUIT that threatens the safety of persons or risks damaging property is obliged to immediately report such a fault to the event staff.
  15. In the event of injury to any person, anyone who observes this fact is obliged to inform the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  16. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT agrees to a personal security check of themselves and their belongings to ensure the safety of other persons and property on the MASARYK CIRCUIT. Refusal of inspection is a reason for denying entry to the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  17. IT IS PROHIBITED TO ENTER THE MASARYK CIRCUIT WITH: • professional cameras and equipment for professional sound recording • any alcohol and any food items (other than those permitted below) • refrigerators, grills, cookers and other appliances for preparing meals • bottles, pressurized objects, containers of all kinds (glass or cans, jars, etc.) • glass or glass objects • unworn clothing, political and advertising materials • laser pointers • drugs, toxic and narcotic drugs • excess luggage and bulky items such as scaffolding, ladders, bicycles, scooters, segways, trolleys • umbrellas for seat stands • tents and similar structures (except for tents at Motocamp A) • weapons (stabbing, slashing, firearms, etc.), chains, scissors, explosive substances (primary and secondary explosive and explosive flammables, including fireworks), flammables and other dangerous objects that could cause damage to the health or property of both the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the Organizer of the event, including their staff and visitors. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the Organizer of the event has the right to decide on the dangerousness of individual items.
  18. IT IS PERMITTED TO ENTER THE MASARYK CIRCUIT WITH: • cameras, films and video cameras with batteries for private use, NOT for commercial purposes (e.g. NO video cameras for professional filming) • mobile phones • drinking water up to 1.5 litres per person, brought in a PET bottle only • small cold snacks for personal use. Small snacks are considered anything that fits into one plastic bag with a capacity of up to 1 litre • canes for the blind, walking aids • medicines for personal use • flagpoles up to 1.6 m in length or less than 2 cm in diameter, if they do not obstruct the view; access may be denied if these poles are without flags • commercially available pocket lighters • binoculars • compact umbrellas, folding chairs and folding armchairs to the area of natural stands
  19. At the MASARYK CIRCUIT, there is a strict prohibition against entering areas not designated for visitor access; each visitor is allowed entry only to areas authorized by their ticket or solely for the specific purpose of their visit (e.g. visiting a restaurant).
  20. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that the racetrack is surrounded by fencing, which separates the track from the stands (both natural and seat stands), and that it is strictly forbidden for spectators to enter beyond this fencing. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is forbidden to cross the fencing in any way and approach the racetrack by any other means. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is forbidden to touch the fencing, which separates the racetrack from the stands (both natural and seat stands), in any way, especially to climb on it, jump on it, or lean against it.
  21. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that it is prohibited to cross any safety tapes, barriers, or railings located anywhere within the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises, as such elements may serve to restrict access to the race track, to areas in dangerous proximity to the race track, or to any locations where, for any possible reason, there exists a risk of harm to life, health, or property, including, in particular, due to potential construction or maintenance works.
  22. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is required to adhere to all instructions from the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, or the Organizer of the given event or happening. For the safety of the persons entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, or the Organizer, are authorized to prevent these persons from entering any area within the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises.
  23. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT is required to move only along marked paths designated for moving between the various stands when crossing between them. The Operator is not responsible for damage caused by movement and staying outside the stands (natural and seat stands) and marked paths.
  24. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that a high number of people may be present on the premises of the MASARYK CIRCUIT. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCLE is obliged to behave respectfully towards others, especially to act in such a way that does not cause damage to the life, health and property of others.
  25. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT acknowledges that participants in the event, employees of the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the Organizer or even the Organizer of the given event or happening, or persons authorized by them, may move around on bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, or in cars (including racing cars), and therefore everyone is required to move around the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises with increased caution.
  26. At the MASARYK CIRCUIT, it is strictly forbidden to throw any objects anywhere, especially onto the racetrack, pit lane, safety zones, and related areas.
  27. It is forbidden to bring animals to the MASARYK CIRCUIT. The owner of the animal or the person who brought the animal into the premises is liable for any damage caused by non-compliance with this prohibition.
  28. Smoking is allowed on the MASARYK CIRCUIT, unless it is explicitly prohibited in a given area. In case of violating the smoking ban, the event staff may expel the visitor who violated this ban from the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises without compensation.
  29. It is forbidden to use open fire in any form at the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  30. It is forbidden to use unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs – drones) at the MASARYK CIRCUIT without prior written consent from the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT.
  31. Any video and audio recordings made at the MASARYK CIRCUIT cannot be used for commercial purposes without the permission of the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the event Organizer. Unauthorized use, transmission, narration, or reproduction of the logo or protected trademark of the MASARYK CIRCUIT is prohibited.
  32. For all companies and events held at the MASARYK CIRCUIT, it is stipulated that the Holder of a ticket for the given happening or event and/or a visitor to the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises or an event participant shall: • waive all legal claims that may arise from any injuries or damage caused or suffered in connection with their presence at the happening or within the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises, • waive any and all rights/claims they may now or in the future assert, release from liability for damage, and agree not to take any legal action or prompt other persons to take legal steps against the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the event organizer, or any other companies associated with the organization of the given happening including their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, providers, representatives, and contractual partners in case of their injury, death, damage, or loss that may be suffered or caused as a result of or in connection with the presence of the Ticker Holder, visitor of the MASARYK CIRCUIT, or participant of the happening or their visit to the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises.
  33. It is prohibited to engage in any marketing and advertising activities at the MASARYK CIRCUIT that are not authorized by the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the event organizer.
  34. Every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT agrees without further notice to the free use of their image or likeness as part of any video recording, transmission, or reproduction of the match for commercial and promotional purposes within the display of the whole or part of the event and in connection with the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the Organizer, and their sponsors.
  35. For every World Championship road motorcycle happening held at the MASARYK CIRCUIT, the following applies: “No photographs or recordings may be used for any form of public advertising, display, or for any purpose (except for private purposes), without the written consent of MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group („MotoGP“). The Ticker Holder grants MotoGP, Automotodrom Brno, a.s., the Organizer, and their designated persons the right to use his/her image and/or likeness in any live or recorded display or other transmission or reproduction of the event, including, without limitation, the rights for promotion and/or commercial use. The Ticker Holder simultaneously confirms that he/she has received proper and adequate consideration. All rights to broadcast, record, photograph, replay, reproduce, or recreate the event are reserved to MotoGP. The Ticker Holder agrees not to take any action or encourage others to take any action against MotoGP and/or the circuit. The Ticker Holder agrees to abide by the terms stated on the ticket, as well as the instructions for visitors posted at the entrances to the premises and published on the website of Automotodrom Brno.” “Motorsport can be dangerous. The Ticker Holder waives all rights and claims to any legal claim arising from an accident or damage incurred or suffered in connection with his/her presence at the Event. The Ticker Holder hereby waives any and all rights and claims he/she may now or in the future have, and releases all liability, and agrees not to take any legal action or instigate others to take legal actions against the International Motorcycle Federation, MotoGP, IRTA, circuit promoters, or any other companies associated with the organization of the Happening including their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, providers, representatives, and contractual partners in case of his/her injury, death, damage, or loss, that the Ticker Holder may suffer or cause as a result of or in connection with the Ticker Holder's presence at the Event. MotoGP, Automotodrom Brno, a.s., or any relevant public authority may issue any health and safety rules; these health and safety rules will be posted at the venue and will apply and must always be complied with by all participants of MotoGP™ races. The Ticker Holder acknowledges and accepts these health and safety rules and agrees to be bound by their provisions.”
  36. It is the duty of every person entering the MASARYK CIRCUIT to hand over any items found at the MASARYK CIRCUIT to the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the event organizer.
  37. Compensation for all damages caused by the visitor will be enforced according to applicable legal regulations of the Czech Republic.
  38. The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT and the event organizer assume no responsibility for the loss or theft of items (especially items brought in or left behind) by others, except for those items explicitly taken into safekeeping by the Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT or the event organizer in specially designated areas (e.g., changing rooms). The Operator of the MASARYK CIRCUIT does not take responsibility for items brought in or set aside; every visitor is responsible for securing their items to prevent theft, including parked vehicles and items stored and left in them.
  39. In the event of an evacuation of the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises, every person present at the MASARYK CIRCUIT at the time must follow the instructions of authorized personnel managing the evacuation, and must act in a way that does not cause damage to life, health, and property of others, and must not incite panic among other persons evacuated from the MASARYK CIRCUIT premises.
  40. After the conclusion of the MotoGP race on both Saturday and Sunday, the underpass beneath the race track in the start/finish area, for safety reasons and for such period as is strictly necessary, be operated on a one-way pedestrian basis, with passage permitted only in the direction leading out of the venue. During this period, access to the underpass from Grandstand T3 shall be closed.
  41. The visitor acknowledges that a camera system is installed within the MASARYK CIRCUIT area for the needs of security and for monitoring and securing the operation on the racetrack.
  42. These Visitor Rules enter into force on 1.12.2025.
