Motorcycle racing continues in Brno as Alpe Adria brings Czech championship leaders and the Women’s European Championship

CREDITAS Autodrom Brno is preparing for another major motorcycle racing weekend from 10 to 12 July. The Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship will feature 18 races, several Czech riders leading their respective championship standings and the Women’s European Championship.

Brno is the third stop of the 2026 season for competitors in the international Alpe Adria championship. The programme will cover a wide range of motorcycle categories, from the smaller-capacity classes to Superbikes.

“Following Euro Moto and MotoGP, we are preparing to host our third international event of the season, this time with an exceptionally diverse line-up. In addition to the traditional Alpe Adria categories, fans will also have the opportunity to see Europe’s leading female racers in action,” says Miroslav Bartoš, CEO of CREDITAS Autodrom Brno. The FIM Europe Women’s European Championship is contested on identical Yamaha R7 motorcycles.

The Brno event will offer Czech fans several compelling home stories. Four Czech riders currently lead the standings in their respective categories. Václav Bittman heads the 600 NG class, Václav Balvín leads the Cup 600 standings and two Czech riders occupy the top two positions in the Superbike category, with Michal Filla leading ahead of Michal Prášek. Miloš Čihák is currently fourth in the Superbike standings.

Daniel Tureček is also looking forward to his home race and will arrive in Brno as the leader of the Sportbike category. “I am delighted to be racing in Brno again. It is my home circuit and, above all, my favourite track. Earlier this year, I competed here as a wild-card rider in the Euro Moto European Championship and we achieved an excellent result. This time, I would like to challenge the lap record in my category,” Tureček says of his ambitions.

The Brno rider has been in outstanding form this season. He has won every race so far and arrives at his home event with the clear objective of extending his 55-point advantage over his nearest rival. “I would like to invite all motorcycle racing fans to join us this weekend. At the Alpe Adria event, they will also have access to the paddock, allowing them to experience the racing from a different perspective than they normally would at world championship events,” adds the two-time European champion.
